Refund policy

At Rhode Drones Search and Rescue, we’re committed to providing great customer service and making sure you're satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return, replacement, and warranty policy below.

 

1. General Return Policy

  • Eligibility: Items may be returned within 30 days if they are unused and in their original, undamaged, sealed packaging.

  • RMA Required: To begin a return, email littlerhodydrones@gmail.com with your receipt and complete the RMA request form.

  • Opened Items: Items that have been opened or lightly used but are still in like-new condition may be returned with a 20% restocking fee.

Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable if the item is returned in functional condition.

2. Custom Kits & RTF Drones

  • Non-Returnable: Custom-built kits, packages, or Ready-to-Fly (RTF) drones are non-returnable. These are configured specifically to your needs and tested before shipping.

 

3. Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) Items

  • DOA items can be exchanged for the same model or a manufacturer-approved equivalent within 30 days.

  • A prepaid return label or shipping reimbursement may be provided at our discretion.

  • After 30 days, warranty claims must be made directly with the manufacturer.

 

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 5 business days.

  • For heavily damaged packages, refuse delivery and call us immediately at (401) 408-2475.

 

5. Refused Deliveries

  • Refused deliveries for reasons other than damage will incur actual shipping charges for both delivery and return.

  • Refunds will reflect the item price minus those costs, even if your original order included free shipping.

 

6. Incorrect Shipping Address

  • If a package is returned due to an incorrect shipping address:

    • You will be charged for reshipping

    • Refunds will exclude original shipping charges

 

7. Refund Process

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll contact you with the refund status.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method (processing time depends on your payment provider).

 

8. Warranty Information

  • Rhode Drones Search and Rescue does not offer direct warranties.

  • All warranty claims must be processed through the manufacturer.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Damage to other gear caused by product failure

    • Injury or property damage related to drone use

 

9. Shipping Costs

  • Unless an item is DOA, you are responsible for return shipping. These charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.

 

10. RMA & Return Instructions

  • An RMA number is required before returning any items.

  • Unauthorized packages will be refused.
